Hi ValueMD,
I was interviewed and accepted to 3 schools (AUC, Ross, Saba) and I have been debating lately, which one these schools would give me a higher chance for becoming a physician in the NYC area (thats where I live). I would also one day would like to practice abroad. Would the NVAO accreditation in the Netherlands serve as an advantage when applying to places like Holland, UK, Spain or Australia? As I understand, with Ross and AUC I have the chance to do all my rotations in NYC or Connecticut, does this serve as advantage when applying for residency (Im thinking about networking with program directors in the northeast)? Ive done as much research as I can, but maybe students here can give me an insiders view of their school.
Also, to students applying for FAFSA, is there a timeline or by when should we receive a financial aid award letter? Thanks and Happy Halloween!
