Hi All,
I need some feedback. I am currently taking my prereqs for PA school but now after thinking a lot and I am considering applying to medical schools. I am a US citizen and go to school here. I dont want to apply to any US med schools simply because they are very competitive and I dont want to waste time if dont get in my first try. I was looking at AUA and know of people who graduated from there and found rotations and residency with no problem.
What are my chances based on my stats of getting in.
My undergrad was in Business Administration and graduated with a 2.8, I have taken a few prereqs after graduation and now my current GPA is a 3.0.
My science grades so far:
BIO 1 - A
BIO 2 - A
Anatomy and Physiology 1 - A
Anatomy and Physiology 2 - A
Chemistry 1 - A
Medical terminology - A
I still have to take Chem 2, Orgo and physics. I am also planning on taking Micro this summer. I havent taken the MCAT yet. Please tell me if I even have a chance.
THank you
